For two years running, Missouri’s Police Chiefs and the Missouri Sheriffs’ Association have been using the power of their office to try to destroy the Second Amendment Preservation Act!
And while they failed to stop us in the legislature last year, scores of them are now trying to overturn SAPA in court as the DOJ’s lawsuits continue to be struck down.
Sure, these guys wrap their objections to our Second Amendment rights in phrases like ‘law and order’ and ‘violent in our streets’ and ‘in our professional opinion.’
But what they never said was that Missouri’s SAPA law is preventing them from joining the federal government in very lucrative task force work — which puts an estimated $9,000,000 to $11,000,000 into their coffers each year through civil asset forfeiture!
This is sickening stuff. While their front-line cops love SAPA because it protects them from having to enforce unconstitutional mandates, their department heads are sucking off of Joe Biden’s teat. For all the details, please watch this video report now!
As you just heard, while throwing a political middle finger to the authority of our General Assembly and the laws of the State of Missouri, Missouri’s law enforcement department heads are raking in millions of dollars EACH YEAR by aiding the federal government — and SAPA threatens this cash flow!
This is why these politically appointed department heads are suing to overturn SAPA. It’s not about public safety. It’s about cash.
Frankly, they should be ashamed of themselves. Their actions here are tarnishing the legacy of the badges that they wear…by being willing to surrender our gun rights for federal cash.
So the next time you see your sheriff, police chief, or prosecuting attorney, make sure you ask them these questions:
>>> “How much money has your agency received from the DOJ’s ‘Equitable Sharing’ program or any other federal asset forfeiture programs over the last ten years?”
>>> “Have these programs been suspended with the implementation of the Second Amendment Preservation Act?”
>>> “How come you never mentioned the obvious profit motive that your agency has in trying to overturn SAPA law in court?”
>>> “Will you publicly pledge to refuse all ‘Equitable Sharing’ or other monies coming from the federal government, since it clearly calls your motives into question?”
This is the fight of our lifetime! If the DOJ and Missouri law enforcement can repeal SAPA law, it will leave Missourians totally exposed to Biden’s gun control mandates — and destroy the national momentum for SAPA!
