The Missouri Firearms Coalition has been working around the clock for over a month surveying legislative, Congressional, and US Senate candidates across the state.
We asked them the same question: with the Second Amendment under non-stop attack, what will you do to fight to defend our right to keep and bear arms if elected to office?
Over the last week, we’ve begun to broadcast the results of this program on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Our goal is simple: we want to get as much information as possible into the hands of MOFC members and other gun owners so that you have the information you need to make an informed decision during the primary election.
Between now and election day, we’ll be releasing video reports via email as well, highlighting dozens of specific races where there is a clear difference between the candidates where your gun rights are concerned.
Sure, not all of these videos will be about your district.
But even if they don’t involve your district, I would encourage you to watch these so you can understand just how anti-gun so many self-described Republicans are right here in Missouri.
The race that we are highlighting in this report is Congressional District 4.
This race features State Senator Rick Brattin and Mark Alford (along with other, lessor known candidates.) Every candidate claims to be pro-gun.
But in this race, one candidate has surveyed 100% pro-gun and has a voting record to back it up! He’s not only promising to defend our rights, but also to champion the fight to expand them!
The other candidates have refused to fill out their MOFC candidate survey…and we all know what that means.
