We’re well into the heart of the 2017 legislative session and our legislation to repeal ‘Gun Free Zones’ — HB630 – needs your help right away!
I need you to call your Representative right away and insist that he cosponsor this crucial legislation. I’ll give you their contact information in a moment.
This legislation would simply remove the dozens of areas in state code where you and I are forced to be defenseless should a madman start shooting!
These would be areas like local government buildings, daycares, churches, sporting arenas and many more where armed thugs don’t think twice about attacking — knowing that you and I are defenseless.
This bill is the next step in the gun rights movement here in Missouri, having passed Constitutional Carry and Stand-Your-Ground law last year.
After all, it doesn’t matter if you carry with or without a permit, if you’re unarmed when you need your gun the most, all because of some silly “Gun Free Zone” sign!
This legislation is on the move in other states as we speak. In Wyoming, for example, virtually the identical bill passed the House just last week.
But here in Jefferson City, there are a number of anti-gun forces and some moderates in the House who are pushing back against this bill.
In fact, some legislators like Rep. Donna Lichtenegger are openly talking about wanting to undo much of what we passed into law last year!
That’s why it’s urgent you call, email, and message your Representative via Facebook –- to make sure he knows what you expect of him this session.

Of course, almost everyone in Jefferson City uses Facebook and often times that’s one of the fastest ways to send them a message.
In the fight for our Second Amendment freedoms we’re either gaining ground or losing ground, there’s no middle ground.
The minute we let off the gas, the other side starts to push back.
That’s why it was so vital that gun owners voiced their displeasure with the recent policies on banning gun owners from carrying in the Capitol in Jefferson City.
In case you missed it, the Governor reversed course yesterday and concealed carry with a permit will be allowed in the Capitol again.
But we can’t stop there.
With dozens of places off limits to gun owners, criminals have their pick of places to attack law abiding Missourians.
