Stop Demonizing Firearms!
Everyone knows why crime is out of control in St Louis. God has been taken out of our schools, most kids aren’t being raised by a father, drug abuse is rampant, and Kim Gardner is refusing to prosecute criminals.
But RINOs in Jeff City are hoping to use this situation to weaken Missouri’s gun laws, as though our Second Amendment rights are the culprit!
That’s why they’ve filed House Bill 1277, terrible legislation that supposedly solves the STL crime problem, when in reality it:
*** Would allow any city in Missouri to ban open carry via city ordinance;
*** Weakens our pre-emption law, allowing cities to pass local gun control;
*** Allows cops to detain and disarm gun owners simply because they are carrying;
*** Enacts a form of ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures,’ seizing guns from Missourians before a conviction;
*** Demonizes the inanimate object (guns), while ignoring criminal behavior!
While RINO’s are blocking legislation to ban ‘Red Flag’ laws and enhance our Stand-Your-Ground law, they are pushing garbage like this, with support from leadership!
Please send this PRE-WRITTEN EMAIL to your State Senator and State Representative and insist that they VOTE NO on HB-1277 and any similar legislation that comes up this year!
