As we recently told you, Elizabeth Warren and dozens of anti-gun socialists in Washington, D.C. have declared open war on gun owners with H.R. 5717/S. 3254! This bill is a whopping one hundred and eleven pages of freedom-crushing tyranny that would permanently alter your right to keep and bear arms here in Missouri. From a national gun owners permit, to ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures,’ to a ban on the sale of AR-15’s — this bill is a dream come true to tyrants like Warren who want to leave you unarmed and helpless! But what has gun owners absolutely enraged is the section of the bill that forces you to lock up your firearms… Section 304 of the bill would force you to leave your firearms locked up in a gun safe — or rendered inoperable via a trigger lock — 24 hours a day with almost no exceptions at all! Imagine someone breaking into your home in rural Missouri at 2:00am, in a situation where you know it would take the sheriff’s department 20 minutes or more to respond.
But if H.R. 5717 advances, you would be forced to unlock your gun safe, find your ammunition, and load your firearm in the pitch black — hoping to God you can do it in time. This is insane! But this is the mindset of tyrants like Elizabeth Warren, Congressman Johnson and the dozens of other elitist politicians in Washington, D.C. who are pushing this bill. They hate gun owners like you and me. They want to do everything in their power to disarm us — or put us in prison — for exercising our right to keep and bear arms! And if you or your loved ones are harmed or killed because you are unable to get to a gun in time to defend yourself…well, they are just fine with that.
