Happy Thanksgiving Day from the Missouri Firearms Coalition!

We certainly have much to be thankful for as Americans and as Missourians this year, where our gun rights are concerned.

For one thing, gun owners in Missouri sent Senator Claire McCaskill packing on election night due to her 12-year war against gun owners!

Secondly, a number of pro-gun champions won election and re-election to the Missouri legislature meaning we will have strong leaders in Jeff City next session.

And while Florida, Vermont, Maryland, Rhode Island and other states have passed sweeping gun control measures into law in the wake of the Parkland, FL shooting –- Missouri did not, despite the best efforts of Rep. Peter Meridith.

And believe me, that wasn’t because of any one lawmaker or then-Governor Greitens.

That was because lawmakers know that gun owners in Missouri are utterly ruthless when it comes to holding anti-gun lawmakers accountable.

So thank you for standing up for your Second Amendment freedoms!

But the fight for the Second Amendment is about to get white hot here in Missouri, as the legislature will be convening right around the corner.

And while we are going to work overtime to rid Missouri of deadly ‘Gun Free Zones’ next session, there’s a lot more at stake.

The radical gun control crowd wants to repeal Stand-Your-Ground law and Constitutional Carry — something they tried to do this year.

But even more concerning is the number of lawmakers — on both sides of the aisle -– who are talking about advancing ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures’ legislation.

This is the bill that would allow your firearms to be seized before you are arrested, indicted or convicted of ANYTHING!

So please enjoy time with your family and friends today, but please also re-commit yourself to the fight for the Second Amendment by renewing your membership for 2019!
