Bloomberg’s forces have declared an all-out war in Jefferson City.
With Republican leadership in Jefferson City refusing to put our bill to repeal deadly ‘Gun Free Zones’ on the floor for an up or down vote, Bloomberg’s activists smell fear.
And with HUNDREDS of Bloomberg backed zealots filling the State Capitol in Jefferson City for their rally last month, they believe that now is their time to strike!
That’s why they’ve unleashed a massive attack on our gun rights, with over a dozen gun-control bills filed in the House and Senate!
And let me tell you, these aren’t minor tweaks to Missouri’s gun laws. If they have their way, gun grabbers will obliterate the gains that you and I have made over the last few years!
The TOP ITEM on Bloomberg’s wish-list for Missouri is passage of Senate Bill 75, repeal of our hard-won Constitutional Carry law.
Sponsored by Senator Curls, this bill would return Missouri to a system where you would have to obtain government permission to carry a firearm — and then add your name to a government database.
As you’ll likely remember, it was this exact list of gun owners which was handed over to then-President Obama’s Justice Department TWICE!
Bloomberg and his paid-for army were furious when we passed this law in 2016, overriding then-Governor Nixon’s veto in the process, and they are determined to repeal it!
If you value your Second Amendment freedoms, as I know you do, it’s absolutely vital that you and I respond IMMEDIATELY.
As you’ll see, this petition insists that your State Representative and State Senator vote “NO!” on any of the dozen gun control bills that have been filed in the state capitol!
Because let me assure you, while repealing Missouri’s Constitutional Carry law is high up on the list, Bloomberg’s ‘red shirt radicals’ are out for blood.
Just some of the other bills that they are trying to ram into law this session include:
*** Senate Bill 163, sponsored by Senator Schupp, which is
commonly referred to as ‘Universal Background Checks.’
*** House Bill 97, sponsored by Representative Green, which is a
statewide ban on the AR-15 and hundreds of similarly designed
firearms for Missourians under 21.
*** House Bill 40, sponsored by Representative Lavender, which
would add Missouri to the growing list of states with a ‘Red Flag
Gun Seizure’ law.
As you’ve heard from us before, ‘Red Flag Gun Seizure’ legislation would allow virtually anyone to have your guns seized by telling the government that ‘you’re dangerous.’
Conducted via ex-parte hearings that you know nothing about, these seizure orders would be issued before you’ve been arrested, indicted or convicted of anything!
We have to stand up and fight back!
We have to prove to state legislators that if they even think about attacking our Second Amendment freedoms, it could mean the end of their political careers.
This attack on our gun rights isn’t coming from out of nowhere. As I said earlier, Bloomberg funded radicals in Jeff City sense a shift in momentum as legislative leaders have refused to advance any pro-gun legislation in three years!
The bolder the gun-grabbers get, the harder it is for you and me to pass Senator Burlison’s legislation to repeal deadly ‘Gun Free Zones!’
