By now you’ve likely heard about the special deal we are running for the month of July.
In celebration of the 4th of July — and the freedoms that we enjoy an Americans –- the Missouri Firearms Coalition has put together a special offer for all new or renewed memberships during the month of July!
More about that in a moment.
First, I wanted to take a moment to let you know the status of the gun rights movement in Missouri, and why it’s so critical that you get involved in this fight.
You see, it was just three years ago that Missouri Firearms Coalition members rammed Stand-Your-Ground and Constitutional Carry legislation into law — overriding then Gov. Nixon’s veto.
But that was then.
Now, in the wake of the Parkland, FL shooting, all bets are off in the fight for gun rights. And thanks to tremendous assistance from the media, gun control momentum in Missouri is growing.
All session long, Bloomberg-funded activists roamed the halls of the Capitol demanding gun control and insisting that our bill to end ‘Gun Free Zones’ be killed.
As it was, we narrowly staved off HB 1733, which would have repealed Missouri’s Constitutional Carry and Stand-Your-Ground law!
And who could forget the rallies around the states in March, where tens of thousands of fellow Missourians demanded sweeping gun control measures?
And make no mistake, they aren’t looking to tinker around the edges, they want to do nothing less than gut the Second Amendment!
Just some of what they are asking for includes:
>>> A complete ban on any magazine that hold over 10 rounds;
>>> Creation of a total firearms registry here in Missouri, via their ‘universal background check’ program;
>>> A complete ban on AR-15’s and hundreds of modern firearms;
>>> Passage of ‘Red Flag Gun Seizure’ legislation which allows you to be striped of your firearms in secret, with no chance to defend yourself!
And these are just the ones being talked about in the statehouse.
Others, including retired Supreme Court Justices, are calling for a complete repeal of the 2nd Amendment in it’s entirety!
Now, thankfully none of this legislation became law in 2018 thanks to your activism.
But this roar for gun control was successful at convincing House leadership to block H.B. 1936, too.
The real question is, which side will have the momentum coming out of the 2018 midterms and into the start of the 2019 legislative session?
That’s why we need every Missourian who cares about the Second Amendment to stand with us now, so that we have the resources we need to effectively FIGHT BACK!
And like I said above, now is a great time to get involved, because during the month of July, ALL memberships come with a FREE T-Shirt from the Missouri Firearms Coalition.
The fighting back that I referred to above will start very soon, as the 2018 elections are only a few months away.
The best way for us to protect our gun rights during the 2019 session, is to wreak havoc on anti-gun lawmakers who are trying to keep their record a secret.
Trust me, nothing cools the flames of gun control amongst a group of moderates in Jefferson City like looking around the room and noticing that they lost a few members during the previous election!
This is how we fight back!
No one lawmaker or political party is going to stop this; you and I have to do it.
But we need your help to put this program into action.
