Missouri’s Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA) has survived the legal challenge brought against it by St. Louis in Jackson County, after a ruling from a Cole County Circuit Judge!
Thank you to all of the MOFC members who funded the legal work that the Missouri Firearms Coalition did to defend SAPA from these would-be gun grabbers in St. Louis and Kansas City.
These cities — choking on epidemic levels of violent crime from criminals they can’t identify, much less convict — were salivating at the thought of being able to put gun owners like you and me in prison, instead.
That’s why these cities hate Missouri’s SAPA law, because if they enforce ANY of Joe Biden’s war against gun owners (whether that’s Executive Orders or bills he can pass in Congress) you and I can drag their departments straight into court thanks to this landmark legislation!
So again, on behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you for standing up and helping us get SAPA passed in the legislature and for helping us defend it in court!
However, I don’t have only good news to report today.
We have reason to believe that, having seen this legal challenge to SAPA collapse here in Missouri, the White House will be instructing the Department of Injustice to file a lawsuit against SAPA in federal court.
MOFC is monitoring this situation carefully and will bring you any developments as soon as we can.
In the meantime, if you’re not yet a member of the Missouri Firearms Coalition NOW IS THE TIME! No one is fighting harder, and delivering successes for gun owners in Missouri! Get involved TODAY!
